My doc just gave me Enula to use along with a few other herbs.
I know ENULA is new. Does anyone have any feedback? Does this stuff work or not????????????
thanks.

I haven't used it. I would like to though.
Also, it's for Babesia.

I have heard some good reports. I am using it now as well. It is difficult to tell how well it is working yet. I don't have symptoms of Babesia at this point but doesn't mean it is entirely gone. We'll see.

I don't think I have the co-infections but it's part of the Cowden protocol - so, I'm taking it just to cover all the bases.
The stuff is definitely a purgative. It does cause me some cramping & purging from my bowels. I reduce the dosage if it gets to be too much.
If it works synergistically with all the other herbs, it's OK with me. It may help to get rid of dead bacteria & other toxins in my bowels.
I don't know if it has an effect on the co-infections since I don't seem to have a big problem with them.

I've been taking "Enula" for a week concurrently with Artemesia annua, for Babesia,; waiting to start a 3d Babs medicine till i get my Fry labs babesia test back.
I think it helps, or maybe it's the Artemsia annua. No side effects.
Someone on this forum recently said she's on the protocol of 12 1/2 days on, 36 hours off, repeat; i mean, take Enula for 12 1/2 days, off for 36 hours, etc. She said she didn't notice anything while on it, but had a herx when she stopped for the 36 hr break.
When i finish this bottle of "Enula", i'm nnot going to reorder. Instead, i've bought a bottle of plain ELECAMPANE to use instead of "Enula", of which Elecampane is probably the main active ingredient.
Elecampane is a wonderful plant in my garden, rugged, 7 feet tall, little raggedy yellow daisies on top in late September, a cloud of sunlight above the clump.

sparkle7, in my opinion and experience, very few people have only Borrelia, if anyone. So I would remain open to the possibility and not miss out looking for those issues which may then lead, with treatment, to much progress in your health journey. Best

anymore experiences?

Thanks Scott! I have realized this myself... It's just that I don't have any of the typical symptoms of the co-infections. I studied them a bit.
I asked my doctor & he said that the tests were not accurate, either. Simple truth is that I couldn't afford any more tests in any case...
I'm going along on the full Cowden protocol & I'm continuing the ENULA as much as I can. If I get up to the 20 or 30 drops on it 2 times a day (I forgot the exact dosage) I really have to spend all day on the toilet... It's very debilitating. But I'm going to continue with it as best as possible.
Thanks for caring!
PS - I find Nutramedix tinctures to be different than other extracts. Is there any reason to use other brands? Do you really save money?
Their products were meant to be used by people with Lyme. I have found them to be different that the usual brands at the health food store... Just my opinion.
I have used regular elecampanga tinctures for phlem due to colds - so, I've used both kinds. I'm sticking with the Nutramedix brand for treating Lyme unless I stop the protocol for some reason.
BTW - I don't sell this product nor do I have any affiliation with them.
