Okay, I will try not to be too gross here, but lately my urine has that stinky sulpher smell like after you eat asparagus.....except I'm not eating asparagus!!
It's all day, for several days now. No real changes to speak of, and it's not really a funny color. Maybe slightly green.
What the heck is THIS about???
Help me!

Hi bunny:
twinofdar here. Are you taking any new vitamins or supps? Eating anything different?

Hey Molly!
No, that's just it.....nothing really different at all. I am pretty basic and in a rut.
I did stop taking Biaxin a week or 2 ago. Also, I have been re-intoducing gluten back, but I just couldn't imagine that the gluten would do it. it's little stuff like cookies and cream ice cream, or using *regular* cream of chicken soup in a recipe, not like eating a whole wheat crust pizza or anything like that.
Plus, my overall *body* seems all puffed up. Not bloated like gas, just "puffy".
Just take me out back and shoot me now.

P.S.
I don't know if I ever told you, but I grew up in Midland, MI. Posted by Peacesoul (Member # 13709) on :
funny cause my urine has been smelling the same for the last two days. I assumed it was because I have not drank enough water. I normally drink 8-10 glasses a day and lately I've been drinking 2-3.
Are you drinking enough water? Are you having any yeast issues?

water is a good suggestion.
Also, asparagus is the #1 vegetable to help the body make glutathione. Glutathione is what the liver uses to detox the body. It can be found in all cells but especially in the liver and lungs.
Healthy people have been found to have high levels of glut and sick people have low levels.
Perhaps the stinky smell means you are detoxifying something? A strong yellow color means you are dehydrated.
I don't know but I've had the same on and off for about two years. LLMD and GP just 'raise eyebrows'.......no infection, etc.

Thanks for the reassurances!
I will try to drink and detox more, and see if that helps.

hmmmm, very interesting That site has good info and they also mention the hosp I go to. Whey protein also has Glutathione in it and probably why my LLMD suggested I take this.
Good to know..thanks

Hi All
It is Important to drink A Lot more water-
If you dont have a glass of something in your hand right now you are not drinking enough -
Warm tea works best for me - ( body dose not use energy to warm up water to body temp)
Green tea (GT)is supposed to make ABX more effective-
GT seems to work for me -the metal taste of ABX is much stronger when I drink GT -
Darker - brownish pee that stinks is a sign of Babs-
Pee will also smell worse when Detoxing -Jay-

Hi Bunny. I get a sulfa smell to my urine. I notice it is stronger when I have a bad herx. I also have the feel/smell of exhaling it from my lungs. Have you had this?
Posted by mojo (Member # 9309) on :
Bunny: Well, I'm stumped unless it's the minor dietary changes. That could account for the bloating too.
Midland, eh? Nice little town. I used to drive through Midland to go to Cadilac years ago to ski. I also went there several times to visit a client that I had there a few years back.

I have it too sometimes and I drink a LOT of water. I used to think that it's connected to the bouts of pain "down there" but no infections were present and on close observation I realized they don't always go together.
Relieved to hear that it simply could be a sign of detox!

zil~ I do not have the lung thing, except they feel a little tight.
I am glad that I am not the only one, tho, that makes me feel better.
I was hoping it was the smell of dead Lyme, but I could be hoping for too much there!!
Y'all are great!

P.S. dontlikeliver~ the candyboots website had me LMAO all afternoon! Thanks for the fun!
