Hi fellow herxers.

I have been on Rocephin IV 2g/day for 8 days and have had severely itchy skin all over my body for 3 days.

It is prickly, can be a little red,but not raised. I have tried oral claritine,oral zyrtec, and oral phenurgon to no relief. Have also bathed in lemons, pinetarsol, cetaphil oil and oatmeal. Again none work.

The only way I get relief is through valium where I sleep through. I wake up with it gone and then it all starts again with the IV starting.

I do not believe I have an allergy and the rest of my symptoms are fine.

Please help me get through this itching so I don't have to stop the abx's! How long does it last? [cussing]
