I have a question about the Lymphnoids. I know as a general rule that if the lymphnoids are swollen that means the body is fighting off an infection.
Yet mine have been swollen on the left side of my body for slightly over a month now. At one point behind my knee was so swollen it hurt to even walk.
Under my armpit and the inguinial lymph also hurts. Very tender. What is up? Anyone else get this? Also been REALLY nauseated. I can't even eat or drink without feeling like I want to throw up.
I already took my Reglan for nausea over 2hrs ago but it hasn't helped. Guess it Promethazine time. Don't know what else to do. Posted by Tincup (Member # 5829) on :
Hey Nora...
Sorry you are having this happen.
It will be hard to suggest anything because you didn't say if you have a LLMD... if you are in treatment... could you have had a herx that hasn't stopped.... etc.
My best suggestion would be to call your doctor. This shouldn't be causing such discomfort and they need to know.
They may have you stop meds till your body can catch up to getting rid of the toxins. Sounds like the lymph nodes are overloaded.
Sorry though... without more info I can't recommend anything else. Well maybe to drink water? You need to clear the toxins.
But do please let us know how you are doing. OK?
Feel better soon!

I get this too. The one behind my left knee.
The ones in my arm pits. The ones around my breasts.
They go down and away on doxy....but I may be looking at another run of bartonella treatment.
I had a massage on a day where all of mine were hugely swollen.
Okay it hurt. But the next day I felt so much better and the lymph nodes were down.
Hang in there. Ibuprofen actually helped with the pain.
Hugs,
Geneal

Thanks. Actually, I don't have a LLMD yet. I am scheduled to go to a clinic that treats for Lyme on the 11th of June.
My Kinesiologist was the one who had found it by muscle testing me. He suggested Samento. While being on it and slowy increasing the drops, I noticed the swollen Lymphs. They were always a little swollen but NOT that bad.
As, well as my stomache issues. I am sure my body is in OVERLOAD! I backed off the Samento for now and tried to increase my fluid intake. My left knee and breast are killing me. It hurts up under the armpit.
Sometimes I often think this disease makes me think I'm loosing my mind. .....

Thanks guys for posting this info about lymph nodes. I have had the most painful lymph tissue in my breasts, I was getting to the point that I wasn't sure if this was a lyme thing or not. Afraid if I went the doctor the would want to do a mammogram and the thought of that brings me to tears. Giving a hug hurts enough, ouch! Posted by sparkle7 (Member # 10397) on :
I think rebounding helps - if you can find a way to do it.
Also- try dry brushing. Take a natural bristle brush that you don't use for anything else & brush your skin on you body. Always brush in strokes upward towards your heart.
It feels weird at first but it helps the lymph glands to detoxify. You have to do it dry & not in the bath.
Lymphatic massage is wonderful but it can be expensive.

I had terrible problems with swollen lymph nodes all over the place. The one under my right arm was bigger than a golf ball.
Hopefully you are seeing a LLMD and if not, i would definitely get to one, but in my case, it appeared to be from the co-infection of bartonella.
Now instead of being constant, mine will come and go but they are improving since being on Levaquin. Since this drug isn't right for everyone, that's why it's important to check with your doctor.
