Dr. B's guidelines say DO NOT use ice or electrical stim unless specifically ordered by our office.

I have recently started pt and have been doing both [Frown]

,not realizing guidelines. What is the reasoning for not doing this?????????

The ice may not be so bad, in limited amounts. Most drs recommend rotating ice with heat... 20 min each.

As for the electrical stimulation, what kind are you talking about??

I had electrical pads put on my aching muscles by a chiro one time and I was in so much pain I wanted to sue him!!!

I never went back and didn't have to pay for the torture!!!
