This question is to the lucky ones that after getting treatment and got the health back were able to stop ABX.

Did you pretty much go "cold turkey" and stop or did you ramp down your abx?

I know chances are those that did stop probably moved on and won't be reading this.... but I ask anyway.

thanks so much....dch

hi dch,
I have stopped recently after improving alot but mostly i stopped because of bad stomach issues. I stopped cold turkey and about a week later began the Buhner herbal protocol (i dont believe the lyme is fully gone as im about 70-80% now not 100 yet!) I ve really just been feeling better (and herxing somewhat too but fairly manageable so far) since ive stopped and am even considering going back to work soon. my brain fog is almost gone and my energy is much better. I guess its an individual thing deciding when to come off, i had already done 20 months of strong abx therapy including 9 months of different IV abx before i stopped. i wanted to stop many times before that and switch to a herbal protocol but im glad i waited because i feel the abx really did an important job. I would consider taking them again in the future if necessary. hope this helps:)

I stopped for 4 months to work on Detoxing as I became so unwell from the neurotoxins

I have my PICC going back in tomorrow [shake] an start on IV Rocephin with IV Rifampin and continue IV glutathione & Iv antioxidents and also many other detox regimes
