I was wondering what kind of supplements/detox people do to help them with Herxing? I take charcoal, and have tried glutathione and ascorbate, but if anyone could recommend anything else that would be great.
If it helps with the question, I get bad brain fog, pressure headaches and pain in my eyes and jaw, aching muscles and joints (esp. legs). I also have a terrible toxic taste in my mouth. A few things that helped me but my herxes varied a little from yours:
water with lots of fresh squeezed lemon (wash lemons thoroughly)
epsom salt/baking soda baths
xanax
heating pads/ice bags (depending on location and feeling of exacerbated symptom)
exercising/brisk walk (only if I have any energy)

If a herx is particularly bad, I back off my meds.
My LLMD encourages this. He also advocates benadryl to help get through this.
