For those that have used IV Rocephin, what color is the drug? I've read it should be light yellow?

I am using a generic form and it appears to be basically clear? It was mixed from a powder form into a saline solution. Anyone else have 'clear' Rocephin?

I see you have started...that's great!
I am also taking the Ceftriaxone (from Coriam) which I assume is Rochpin.

It is quite clear. Lets hear what others have to say.

Is it working out for you?

Any Herxing?

I think you started on the 9th.

I have gotten generic ceftriaxone from 2 different companies, and both were yellow (but not dark yellow).

We get about seven filled syringes at a time. When it first arrives it is clear or a light yellow but as it "ages" it gets darker. So I'm thinking lighter is better than darker in this instance.

was on for 2 weeks...mixed with 100ml bag of fluid and was practically clear...maybe a little hazy

I think both MBB3 and I are using the same company.

which we administer one eclipse pump every 12 Hrs ,into a peripheral line.

It sure looks like pale yellow water to me.

My bag of Rocephin is yellow, but it looks clear coming down the tube.
