After hearing about it from several people, I decided to try olive leaf extract to see if it would help with my remaining Lyme symptoms. After work yesterday, I stopped and picked some up at Vitamin World, and took one right away, then another after dinner.
Yesterday night, only a few hours later, I ended up feeling crappier than I have in quite a while, tired and very lightheaded. This morning, I have absolutely no energy at all, I feel like I'm just going to fall asleep on my keyboard.
So, I'm just wondering, is this a random relapse, or is it possible to get a herx reaction from olive leaf?

Olive leaf is a natural potent wide-spectrum antibiotic and can be very powerful, so yes you would normally have the same kind of herx reaction as with a pharmacutical antibiotic.

Yes, it can be strong. Can you take a fourth of what you took ?
and with lots of water -
I take a wonderful combination and don't have that problem. It has other herbs to help remove toxins and that may be why.
Myrolea B by Pine Mountain - I'll try to find a link and ingredients. Perhaps adding a balancing formula will help.
