There are so many of them out there. I want to find a good resource. It seems that they contradict each other.

As well, there seems to be some contradiction in that if you need anti-inflammation, it includes fruit.

However, Lyme diets, due to yeast, do not.

Is there a great resource out there?

I know that right now you may have to be very strict and avoid all fruits. I did that for ten years and I think I could have added in fruits much sooner than I did.

It's the dark colors of fruits, espcially low-sugar berries that can actually help decrease inflammation as they are anti-oxidant. They do the detox work for us both by their color and by their bulk to pull the toxins through the G.I. tract. And they are good for our eyes and our brain - and our heart.

If you can work in some dark berries at the end of a meal - or in a supplement - these colors do hold some wonderful properties in addition to their vitamins.

I think we need all the color we can get.

In lieu of eating fruits, elderberry extract or bilberry extract offers some of the antioxidant protection, thereby helping to lower inflammation.

There's a lot written about using Curcumin (from turmeric) to lower inflammation, too.

Dr. Weil stated to increase soy protein in the diet. I'm concerned about the use of soy because of the research done by Dr. Blaylock. The following link has the comments of a supporter for soy and a rebuttal from Dr. Blaylock. It might be saver to go to rice protein instead of soy.
