Hi all,

I've decided to go ahead and have an Igenex WB done after a low cd57 result from last month.

Received the kit and had a question concerning the tubes that will be used. One appears to be coated with a white powder like substance on the inside. Does anyone know if this is the way it should look?

Was wondering if maybe the preservative may have dried up during shipping of the kit. Some California temps were close to 100 last week.

Just curious.

Will call Igenex tomorrow and inquire before proceeding.

I don't know .... the tubes themselves are pretty standard, so whoever takes your blood can use one of their own tubes as long as it's the same type (I know because they broke the seal on one of mine).

yes, it's wise to call them and DOUBLE CHECK!! since you will be paying $200 out of pocket for this!!!

better safe then sorry; i think it is something that is added to your blood for when they do the special thing there with the blood before it leaves the lab! betty [Smile]
