I read in a health magazine that it could possibly be passed to a partner or family member, does anyone have any information if this is true?

I was just diagnosed with Bartonella in January and then Mycoplasma Fermentan last month, they found the Mycoplasma via a biopsy of a swollen Lymph node in my neck.

Any information will be greatly appreciated, God Bless. POP

I believe that Dr. G N has suggested that it can be passed as most people in families of GW Veterans often have it.

I believe many types of "small" bacteria that are cell-wall deficient can be transmitted by body fluid exchange (think STDs) or by casual contact (coughing or sneezing). Many of these are documented. Worse, much of this was proven on populations, like the experiments in the Texas prison system.

I've never read that a biopsy led to actual identification of mycoplasmas. This is a mixed blessing I suppose!? Can you tell us more about the technique that was employed? Was it dark field microscopy?

Multiple antibiotics may be needed long term; low-dose and pulsed (like in the Marshall Protocol) may be effective (depending on the type, frequency, duration of antibx).

SForsgren,

I have read some past articles of Dr. G N, the magazine stated the same as he did, that many GW familes had become infected with Mycoplasma. Maybe this is where the health magazine got their information from? This is very scary, I just reunited with my old High school sweetheart after 25 years apart and I do not want to get this women sick.

Cold Feet,

My LLMD suspected Mycoplasma because I was infected on a Government military base years ago. He has been getting a lot of military service members coming into his office that test positive for this.

The biopsy was sent to MDL labs in New Jersey, they tested the sample by PCR DNA for Lyme, Babesiosis, Bartonella and Mycoplasma.

I am currently on Bactrim and Flagyl, I`ve been on these ABX for a few months now with limited results. I don`t know if it`s to early yet or this regimen is no good for these infections. I have been told I`ve had Bart and Mycoplasma for quite some time as they went undiagnosed.

I`ve been out of work since last November and I`m now fighting the Federal Government for disability. At times I don`t know what`s worse, the diseases or having to fight the Feds for what`s right. Thanks for your responses, God Bless all that effected by these diseases. POP
