What supplement will help with the neurosymptoms. Flare up consists of severe burning hands and feet as well as numb tingling sensations in hands. Thanks

Many people here say Magnesium supplements help with neuro stuff.
Burning sensations are many times associated with Babesia - have you been tested for that? You might not be dealing with just Lyme.
Also, are you on Doxy? If yes, Doxy will cause burning skin when you are out in the sun - it's a sunburn, but NOT like a normal sunburn - really stinging/burning like a chemical burn.

My doctor is having me take Acetyl L-Carnitine and SamE for neuro symptoms. I notice that my brain fog has been a little better and the burning in my feet is not as bad. Usually the burning gets worse with my antibiotics.
Magnesium is good, but my doc suggests Magnesium lactate (not magnesium with calcium). I ordered Mag-tab SR from Niche Pharmaceuticals off the internet. Received it in 2 days. Hope this helps!

sublingual b12
hot baths with epsom salt and baking soda
these help with nerve/aches and pain symptoms but I'm really not sure what helps with the burning! Perhaps more detoxing:
water with lots of fresh-squeezed lemon (wash lemons thoroughly)
I take cholestyramine to bind toxins and get them out of my body more efficiently.
There are other toxin binders that do not require rx's. Do a search for welchol and cowden protocol has a product that I can never spell...chlorella? Someone else will probably chime in.
Sorry for your pain...

It absorbs nearly everything...including all your drugs too!!!
But...Find the "Universal remedy" of old. Mg oxide is the first of three components (that triggers diarrhea)...
Too many inflammatory cytokines really do a "number" on the nerve endings and can damage them.
Unfortunately when we reduce the inflammatory cytokines via NSAIDS/aspirin and the like (which ARE serving a function)...we inhibit COX-1 *AND* COX-2.
What we have been aiming for is: INCREASING COX-1
We need it to be activated.
COX-1 -> PGE-1 -> HO-1.
Another possibility:
These data indicate that Pycnogenol can prevent adverse myocardial remodeling induced by L-NAME, through modulating TIMP and MMPs gene expression, MMPs activity, and further reduction in myocardial collagen degradation rate.

Pycnogenol is expensive. A retired infectious doc here (Sarasota) swears by it for lyme (along with HBOT - which is outrageously expensive and does not seem to "cure"). Nice try though.
Pycnogenol is supposed to be taken once a day, with mgs = #s.
In other words, if you weigh 150 #s, you need 150 mg. once a day.
