I tried it several times and felt like I had been shocked meaning the burning sensations in my head and neck were off the chart for weeks.
I haven't done it in a while because I am not sure if this was a good or bad symptom.

Rife has cured people with lyme, I have been told. It looks to take about 2 years along with a dedication to a very "healthy" lifestyle.
The machines vary. The most effective one, IMO, is the one that sends the frequencies thru an argon light (depth of penetration issue) and can scan as well as pulse various frequencies. It runs about $3,000.00.
If effective (you hit the right frequency)...the first "herx" will be tough.
When the pathogen is destroyed, any and all minerals and amino acids (from protein in its cell walls) it is harboring are released into the system.
Excess of any mineral/amino acid can be toxic to us.
Sooo...if you are considering this...go SLOW.
And replenish your electrolytes.
As you should if you chose to try a far infrared sauna to "detox" also(saunas do not use the healing 880nM wavelength, it appears).

To ask if there are any bad experiences, it would help to preface with: if used as the instructions were made . . .
The thing is that herxes can be harsh from RIFE if not done exactly. and if detox, liver support measures are not employed.
The instructions I got when I first go my machine was to
- treat no more than every 12 (twelve) days and
- for a certain number of minutes, each for particular frequencies.
To do more can result in bad experiences. Otherwise, it should not but, it's good to start even slower and work up.
If someone has a bad experience who has followed directions, they should be sure to consult with whomever is their expert.
If just not much effect, then perhaps different frequencies are required.

Another consideration: If babesia has not first been treated, then lyme rife tx can be compromised, from what I've read/heard, anyway. But, I've not done a complete study of this question.
I held off on the rife tx but am gearing up for that soon. There really is a bit of study involved - and timing.
Rosner's book helps a great deal, BTW.

I had them all.
It depends on the load and frequencies you use.
But if you r load is very high ...you need to lower it first with antibiotics ...or any other way you agree.
I tried it for 6 months with herbs and suplements ....It helped shortly but not going anywhere b/c I was severe.
Also depends on the machine you get.
But is good to have a break from everything and keep in check lyme when you have abreak from antibiotics.
Another way to hit lyme.
I doubt that can be the only way to treat it -when you have coinfections.
But in conjuctions with other methods...yes.It is good to use it.REad and learn as much as you can before you decide to go for it.

I am definately interested in pursuing rife. I tried it and I had a herx that I felt like targeted my central nervous system because it caused light, sound and skin sensitivity along with some visual hallucinations. My vision has been very affected by lyme.
I did detox with my regular protocol (milk thistle, clorella, herbal infusion etc.).
I didn't realize that co-infections may be hard to treat with rife. Why is that? They are organisms with a resonance frequency.
Yes, I will do more research. If you have a rife machine and you are happy with it, I'd appreciate if you can share with me the brand/model.

I have tried a few devices
1)GB4000 2)FSCAN 3)F100 series by Atelier Robin.
My impression is that getting the right frequency is the most important thing. I don't think you need alot of power for Lyme, but there are machines that have alot of power that are considered helpful by others, such as the Doug device.
The GB4000 was nice in some ways, but I returned it. It wasn't as programmable as the f100 device, and was alot more expensive with the amp. ($2700)
I think it's a fine machine, and is helpful for those who like the user-friendly design. It's ready to use out of the box, and is pre-programmed.
The f100 series requires a computer and is complicated to use for most people, but is cheaper. ($700)
The FSCAN did work really well, but the price is $4000. These would be great devices for groups to share.
It doesn't matter how great a device it is, if you aren't using it. Consistent usage for a year or two is probably more important that specific options. I found great results from my rife machine, and couldn't imagine living without one.
