I was on meds for a year and a half and I starting feeling much better. The herxes were awful though. After being off meds for about a year my lyme symptoms have returned. I started back on meds but the herxes are awful. I get neuro symptoms while on the meds. I can't recall things or function well at all. Then I worry non stop and it makes every symptom intensify. Any suggestions as to how to control the herxing?

Search the posts here, under medical questions, using "herx" and "detox" as keywords for the subject.
You'll find alot of really helfpul information!
Also, do the same for "HLA DR4".
If you have that genotype, then it's alot harder for your body to get rid of the toxins, which are created from you taking something to kill your infections, also called dieoff.
All is not lost though, if you have it, as there are things you can do to help yourself.
You'll come across that information in some of the posts you find.
