I seem to be dreaming in volumes. Im wondering if it's the anti-biotics, Lyme or some other factor.
Anyone else?

Yes! Absolutely vivid dreams every single night. Interesting that you brought that up. I can't rememeber if it happened prior to taking antibiotics though.

I have very long (at least it seems that way) vivid dreams most nights.
They are often a little strange but not what I would call "bad dreams". Kind of interesting.

I'm the opposite. I rarely remember dreams... so I don't even know if I have them most nights. Posted by swedish lyme sufferer (Member # 14579) on :
Yes I dream, often during herxes I dream about the past.....strange....I think it is the bugs dying in the brain doing something with our dreams.

Funny you mentioned that. Before this crud, I dreamed vivid, fun dreams. When this junk kicked in, my dreams turned dark, and scarey..or I wouldnt dream at all..for weeks.
Now that Im on abx, my dreams are returning to being fun, and relaxing. My sister who has lyme as well right now has said the same thing. Must be something in the brain being cleaned up...

What about night terrors? I had my first one the other night, 1 month into treatment. I have had nightmares before, but nothing like what I had the other night.
Has anyone else had such a thing?

I dream like that when I take N-acetyl-cysteine, what a ride! not bad dreams, just...nutty. I don't take antibiotics.

dreams are associated with a certain stage of sleep (i.e. REM stage).
I don't dream as much as I used to. that's hard for me, because that's the way I keep track of what is going on in my unconscious. Its truly amazing how much of your waking thoughts and behaviors are not under your conscious control.
My own experience is that vivid dreams are my bodies way of trying to get something very important across, I pay close attention to them
