I was tested about a year ago for HHV-6. Results came back negative from Redlabs USA.
After my bout with shingles, I am wondering about the possibility of viral influence in my symptoms.
My Titer (through Igenex) was 1:80.
I am not too familiar with all of this. Do the Redlab results indicate no presence/influence of virus?

I did mine through MDL. Was positive - highly.

Shingles is from one of the Herpes viruses -- but not HHV-6. Forget which one though.

My most recent Igenex test shows the following:
23-25 IND
31 ++++
41 ++
As a reminder, ten months earlier, the results showed:
18 +
23-25 ++
31 ++++
39 +
41 +++
58 +
Do my recent results show the possibility of viral influence? Where can I get more information on this?

If you are interested in viral testing, I would suggest using Focus Diagnostics lab.
If you do a search at lymenet in "medical questions" using my member number and the words "viral testing" a thread should come up.
Also see www.hhv-6foundation.org The patients forum also has info on testing.
Best,
Timaca
