Do any of you guys feel that even with adequate amount of sleep you still hurt badly in the morning.
As of late, I wake up feeling as though I ran a marathon the day before. My muscles do not feel refreshed at all. As the day goes on, the aches get worse if I am active.
I am currently treating candida and have some hormonal imbalances. Awaiting Igenex results after treating Lyme for some time.
Any thoughts on the leg ache/fatigue?

I tested negative for all coinfection. Positive tests were for Candida and Lyme "Elisa" and indeterminate "Western Blot"
I take magnesium daily which eliminates the twitches, I just added zinc as I noticed they were on the low side of test range. My calcium is always high 10.0 to 10.6. So I do not take any and don't want to risk kidney stones.
Recent tests show low Testosterone (free&total). This may have something to do with my body feeling like it does not recover.

Hi dg
I have had terrific leg pain for the longest time - almost a year now. I just started treatment and I'm on my 3rd week of Doxy 400mg as of today.
I started noticing a huge improvement only 3-4 days ago with the leg pain. It is almost gone.
I have some neurologica stuff with it - and still have that "hum" going in the legs - still weak - but pain is hardly there.
Just realized you said you have been treated for Lyme for some time. How were you treated and did you ever get relief from the pain?

I started getting relief after beginning PT. But two weeks ago it seemed that Candida got hold of my body, thrush was bad, had "herxes" from diflucan yeast die off.
I believe Lyme started my leg aches and the candida cont'd it.
When I first started the ABX doxy, I began to have the vibrations and twitches. The vibrations are gone but I do get the occasional twitch. Treatment was doxy 200mg 3 weeks, amox 3000mg 10 days, Ceftin 500mg 2 weeks. Now awaiting IGenix retest. Local labs came back negative for all TBD's but positive for the candida.
I am treating the candida with diet, supplements and diflucan and hopefully it will clear some of the aches.
