What I notice daily are spots, streaks that are blackish-grey. A lot of the times they disappear into my periphery vision.
I'm not sure if I have Lyme or not. My natural doctor says floaters can be from toxicity. What do you all think?
Can floaters be a symptom of Bartonella????

Hi Jeni
Floaters can be caused by lyme -
With lyme treatment they will usually get better or go away -
It dose take some time to happen- months not weeks -Jay-

I have HUNDREDS of floaters on both eyes... It's terrible I have to see through my floaters... Never had them until I became sick. Posted by Lymeorsomething (Member # 16359) on :
I've never had floaters 'til the Lyme diagnosis and now they have been frequent.
I feel that they are a kind of barometer of infection status. With correct treatment, they should start to ease up.
It's just one more way Lyme makes you feel unwell. It's very aggravating....

I have had floaters on and off during treatment.
I don't know if mine are normal floaters. Mine are very sparkly and I usually see them out of the corner of my eye. Sometimes in field of vision but it is usually peripheal.
It's strange because if it is dark outside I can swear I am seeing a bunch of falling stars.

Alot of lymies hav alot of floaters but even healthy people I know will see them everynow and then... it has to do with the inflammation of the eye.
