What are the symptoms. I had it a long time ago before I developed LD, but can't remember exactly the symptoms.

I am having shortness of breath and feel a little lighheaded. Also when I lay down I feel a heavyness in my chest. Have felt this way for about a week.

Have a call into doc. Also wonder if this could be a reaction to zith.

Almost all of us have mycoplasma pneumonia. My daughter's first positive was m. pneumonia. I am going to start treatment, as well.

The double viral pneumonia I got in 1995, that nearly killed me, has left me with constant lower respiratory illness. It is suspect it is mycoplasma.

Most of the abx for bartonella will treat mycoplasma.

Yes ..MOST of us cary MUcoplasma as well...That is true...DOXY ,or MINO or azithr or LEVAQUIN etc...will kill mucoplasma...just make sure that if you rotate these drugs you cover muco as well on combos...while hitting another BUG!

According to the experts at Univ. of Texas San Antonio, an IgG titer of 1:200 or greater means there is the possibility of chronic active infection for mycoplasma. Titers lower than this are not suspicous for mycoplasma infection.

Googling Dr. Baseman mycoplasma will bring up some articles.

Best,
Timaca

id say we all do.

whether its symptomatic or not is another story.

myco is one of those infections we all carry, it becomes burdensome when our immune systems become taxed and cannot handle all the little foreign !@$*ers.

derek

you might want to search for Garth Nicolson, Ph.D.'s web site if you've not already. You can google for that. He's one of the top researchers for mycoplasma.

AND . . . check out the Cpn site: www.cpnhelp.com - or www.cpnhelp.org .

sorry I don't have links right now . . . I'm just going off the top of my head.

I have it and have all three of those symptoms!

I have no cough, but I feel short of breath and hungry for air, like someone is squeezing all of the air out of my lungs.

I also have terrible dizziness and lightheadedness.

It gets worse for me as well when I lay down, and I feel the same heaviness in my chest, and I get a weird feeling in my head like I'm about to pass out. My heart also feels weird.

So, you're not alone [Smile]

I have found over 20 different neurological conditions attributed to mycoplasma pneumoniae which has been published in reputable scientific journals.

Here is an example of the list:

Acute (Bilateral) Necrotizing Encephalopathy
Guillain-Barre' Syndrome
Seizure disorders
ALS
Optic Neuritis
Acute Polyneuritis
Lymphocytic meningitis
Encephalitis Amnesia Disorder
Transverse Myelitis
Polyradiculitis
Bell's Palsy
Tourette's Syndrome
Fischer Syndrome
Kluver-Bucy Syndrome
Intracranial Hypertension
Anaplastic Oligodendroglioma
Stroke
Disseminated Encephalomyelitis

I'm sure there are more.
