B. Duncani
The P.A. handwrote on this page: "WA-1 pos"
The typed Igenex page says Babesia Duncani, formerly known as WA-1 since it originated in Washington state & pacific northwest.

IgM <1:20
IgG 1:80
Reference Range says over 1:640 suggests active infection

The other co-infections were negative.
My CD57 was a "2" in Feb and a "4" in July
IL-8 was 4,184-----should be less than 14

THANKS FOR ANY HELP!!!

You have quite a number of highly significant bands, 31, 34, 83-93. I read an article where Scotland revised reading of the WB to include band 58 as a specific band so it is considered specific at least in some countries.

I have no doubt that you have lyme.

This is Dr. C's WB explanation.
http://flash.lymenet.org/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=042077

The fact that you have babesia is another indication that you likely have borrelia but with your results, I would not doubt it.

Hi Jam,

I just emailed you and suggested you post your results on here, and see you already have!

Congrats on your VERY active results...I think we can officially now call you a Lymie! :-)

These bands ALONE mean you have Lyme! Welcome to our little club!!

"Band 83: This is the DNA or genetic material of Borrelia burgdorferi. It is the same thing as the 93, based upon the medical literature. But laboratories vary in assigning significance to the 83 versus the 93.

Band 93: The DNA or genetic material of Borrelia burgdorferi."

from Dr C's explanation. Be sure to read it!! [Smile]

In addition to being positive for Lyme Disease you are also positive for Babesia co-infection.

No wonder you don't feel well.

Positive 10 bands WB IGG & IGM
+ Babesia + Bartonolla and NOW RMSF 3/5/09 all at Quest

Thank you everyone for all of your help! It is a bit overwhelming for me to absorb it all. Maybe after a night's rest it will all gel together better for me. Today has just been a very rough day for me in many ways. Thanks for the help. All contributions and thoughts are welcome, thank you!
