Hi Moongirl,

Band 39 is the most Lyme specific. Band 41 is 50% specific for Lyme. I think I'm remembering that right. To me, an IND is enough to say that something, and if it's band 39 something rather Lyme specific, is there.

Your Western Blot looks very similar to the one a friend of mine had. I'll tell you the same thing I told her -- if it was me, I'd be on antibiotics as fast as I possibly could, just to be safe.

She is now in her 5th month of pregnancy and has been on low dose amox the whole time and the pregnancy is going great.

My Lyme doc told me that she has had lots of patients have perfect births if taking abx during pregnancy. She has also unfortunately seen some bith defects and problems arise from patients who did not take abx.

Another thing you might want to consider is getting a CD57 done. That might round out the picture a little better.

Cheers,

Alison

Not to mention the possibility of the child getting Lyme disease.

DO NOT POST ANY MORE REPLIES HERE!!!

she has posted FIVE IDENTICAL POSTS HERE and seeking dr. forum.

i've asked her to keep one with most replies, and then to COPY REPLIES TO OTHER 4 TO THE ONE WITH 10 REPLIES.

gave her instructions then to delete other 4 as it's confusing us and we're wasting our energy answering OVER AND OVER same post!!
