Recently my old symptoms of numbness and tingly sensations are back out of
no-where. For two months I've been feeling alot better and haven't really had
any symptoms. The just the other day,all of a sudden the numbness and tingly is back.
I was told it's the bacteria dying off, but I think it might be that I need to change meds,or relapse.
Does your body get immune to antibiotics after a couple months?
If your feeling better and not having any symptoms, and then out of the blue get reoccurring
ones, What does that mean? Posted by lymebytes (Member # 11830) on :
Did you recently start new abx?
I had numbness and tingling 2 years ago and it was gone for almost 1.5 years and started again when I started Bicillin just a few months ago.
It is likely just part of the herx.

If something gets worse it is usually a herx for me, especailly if i started a new med or increased dosage.
I would also check (you could call your pharmacist) and make sure that it is not a potential side effect of any of the meds you are taking.

Also make sure it's not your pituitary-thyroid-adrenals causing the numbness and tingling.....I, too, had been off abx for quite some time and was making great strides....Then, my thyroid crashed due to Hashimoto's and pituitary issues (I've been writing about that a lot lately on this board)...Anyway, I would have intermittent numbness and tingling due to this dysfunction...Now that I'm treating my thyroid/pituitary, no more numbness and tingling....
Just make sure you're not exhibiting any other other other symptoms of hypothyroidism.....you should google it if you haven't already....
