was just reading a post on cumanda and how it fights bart...

light bulb moment, I think...

Is ground cumin and cumanda related?
Made a recipe w/ground cumin in it and had a VIOLENT reaction. This was a new herb to my diet. No one else had a problem...

What does the reaction tell me?

just thinking of possible treatments...

They are not the same thing. Cumanda is from the Amazon.

Cumin is a culinary herb, I think it's from India but I'd have to research it. I don't know what the medicinal properties of cumin are. I'd have to check.

It's definitely not the same thing.

cuman - great anti-inflammatory and blood thinner. I take 1/2 tsp with water or juice if that is your preference morning and before bedtime.

Have you ever had frijoles refritos? The main spice there is cumin, i think.
