While reading BODY DETOX on Dr. Natura's website,

one person said antibotics (They are mold)...

Is this true? I remember how penicillin was discovered.

- -> Am trying to decide what protocol to turn to next.

Here is a paste from that website:
Not only did I have yeast in my gut, but I was also allergic to it. So I was always reacting.

Why didn't they just listen to my symptoms? The best question you doctors could ever ask is:

`When was the last time you felt well?'

I would say before I got sick and took all those antibiotics. (They are mold.)

In addition to Dr. Fleming developing penicillin from mold found on bread, most pharmaceutical companies routinely screened soil samples from around the world up until maybe 20 years ago looking to grow out new antimicrobial strains. Many were found that are modern day antibiotics.

That being said - that doesn't mean antibiotics are mold - most antibiotics are synthetic - Meaning they aren't derived from anything but a mix of chemicals in a factory.

On a yeast front, many antibiotics can destroy the natural flora in the gut that holds Candida (yeast) at bay. Of course many aspects of modern day life can also destroy the natural flora of the gut and allow Candida to grow and prosper. One solution is to be diligent while either well or sick by taking probiotics.

Not a panacea but then what in healthcare is?

I personally have to be extremely ill to take an antibiotic but my husband who has tick carried infections and who has been seriously ill - please pass the supersize antibiotic cocktail and also please supersize the probiotics.

Penicillin was originally derived from mold but I think most of it's synthesized now.

If it kills the right bacteria who cares what it came from?

Thank you GA Daisy and Charlie, This helps.

I've felt some improvements this past month.

As time marches and a flair-up or a set-back occurs, I won't be overly concerned to go the ABX route.

Appreciate your input very much.

The most important things:

you must KNOW the infection in all its stages and forms.

then, you must take specific measures that address each form and stage whether lyme or other coinfections and also will crosse the blood brain barrier and reach to where all such infection lies/hides.

in the least harmful, but also effective manner while also supporting the body.

Just make sure you follow a good diet ( sugar free, low carb ) and take high quality probiotics. It's yeast/Candida you have to worry about .. not the antibiotics themselves.
