Just wondering what quantity people are taking for enzymes for disolving biofilm.
I am taking vegetable enzymes. 2 caps vegizyme 2X day 2 caps similase 1X day
I have to back off as it seems to have provoked too much of a herx.
How much are you taking? Did it initiate a herx?

actually I used to take enzymes before I knew I had lyme....and I always went for large dosages
I noticed that 10 pills of wobenzyme early in the morning in empryt stomakc first thing in the morning help me a lot..during the day and I am free of pain also treat the biofilm before you take antibiotics...( as the bugs like to hide)

Is this really the way you beat down the biofilm? Been hearing about them quite a bit lately, but wasn't sure what we do about it.
This is an over the counter product, right? I think it's what my N.D. gave me before my lyme diagnosis.

Yes it is over the counter, Boluoke(earthworm protein) is the first choice which was too powerful for me. Second choice is vegetable enzyme. I am taking Biogenesis VegiZyme along with Tyler Similase

No, I stopped years ago, but I was undiagnosed for 5 years and then went seeking an N.D. and that is something he had tried. Can't even recall the reason WHY he had me on it since I had so many crazy symptoms.
But yes, definitely something I'll have to ask my doctor about since if we can penetrate these bio films with something like this, I'm ready to try them again while on abx.

Yes--I'm currently taking Vitalzym 3 capsules 2 Xs per day.
I was taking lumbrokinase for about 5 months under direction from my LLMD. Lumbrokinase is particularly potent in cleaning out small blood vessels in the brain, according to him.
For the highest potency/cost, Vitalzym and Neprinol are about the best, in my experience.

I take Nattokinase at 10,000 or 12,000 FU's (Fibrinolytic Units) about 3 or 4 times a day, with food.
On empty stomach i take proteolytic enzymes, have used 3 different brands, once or twice a day.
They seem to help,; i wouldn't be without them for even one day. I don't know what they're doing, i just feel that they help. My mind told me directly, not my mind speaking indirectly through my muscle.
Alv--- i'm intrigued by your high-dose treatment. That really rings a bell with me. I don't react much to a lot of normal doses of a lot of things, and occasional mistakes with high doses have been lucky shots for me. I just wonder--- how high??

These 3 things eliminated 85% of my biofilm in 2 months. These things will also make your herxes more severe but you are killing the bugs.

ive been taking nattokinase 200mg 2x day (8000 fu day)
from what you are all taking, this isnt that much..
pam, youre taking 10000 fu's 3-4x a day? so thats 5 100mg pills 4 times a day. 20 nattos a day wow.
is it working? maybe i should increase my dose?

I take so much Nattokinase because i have one or two genes for blood clots,; i use the Nattok. to prevent blood clots--- which is a medically unproven treatment, but it has a good reputation among people with clotting disorders who are at risk of a blood clot. NOT medically proven, NB.
It eliminates my symptoms of little random spot pains in the lower legs. I used to read a blood-clot forum, and some memebers did describe little random spot pains in the lower legs as a precursor symptom of blood-clot trouble. So, i take the pills and have no symptoms--- i'm happy, though i can't prove i'm not deluded.
Have you had a coagulation panel test; have they tested you for clotting time? My LLMD made me get tested before he would give me IV, because he doesn't put IVs in people with certain blood-clotting disorders; he has seen too many people with a bad gene clot on IV.

no i dont have the blood clotting problem, just using the natto for increased blood flow since in encephalepathic and to try to break bioflims.

My husband takes a broad spectrum digestive enzyme 3 times a day with food, a pH-tolerant broad spectrum enzyme twice a day between meals, plus lumbrokinase (boluoke) + nattokinase + serrapeptase twice a day between meals. He also takes two more capsules of lumbrokinase before bed. I was a bit skittish about this regimen, but when my husband got a large and gouging cut on his calf last week, he bled from the wound about as much as anyone else would have bled, and it stopped within a reasonable time frame. Our doctor gave a thumbs-up to this regimen as well just this week.
