Do you need to treat lyme disease with medication before you use a Rifle machine or does it make any difference?

In my family, my spouse had 6 months of ABX, couldn't tolerate any more, started rife 6 months later, 3 years ago.
Our daughter had 4 weeks of ABX 9 years ago. Had no more meds for 6 years. Started rife 2 years ago.
Our daughter's friend was infected more than 12 years, never treated for Lyme, no ABX treatment for anything else that could have helped Lyme. Also started rife 2 years ago.
All of them have responded well.
If you have a chance to get effective treatment from an experienced practitioner, that would be my choice to start with.

Antibiotics should be your first line of defense against Lyme. You can use the Rife machine at the same time, but do not forgo antibiotic treatment for using Rife only.
The Rife machine will kill less at a time while on antibiotics, but that is OK. You are still getting the job done.
Most here using a Rife machine are doing so because they have few other options available. Either standard treatments are not working or they are not available due to a lack of a diagnosis.
You have a good shot at eliminating the disease early on with antibiotic treatment.

I have had it for over 45 years. I think my daughter and son have had it since birth which is well over 25 years. None of us have the money to treat it. I was thinking maybe we could all use a Rifle machine.

If you're going to use Rife, but you have a high bacterial load as a result of never treating it over a long period of time. Doing both isn't a bad idea, as long as you go gently. Many patients treat with antibiotics first, or transition into Rife with Antibiotics -- eventually leaving Antibiotics behind.
If your bacterial load is high, antibiotics first would probably be best, as Rife can really cause some serious suffering initially from Herxheimer reactions. Antibiotics are hard enough early on, in my opinion.

If you begin slowly, you won't herx any harder than from abx. All you have to do is rife for short periods of time. If you herx hard, cut back on the number of minutes.
Pretty simple.
I hope you can get a machine for your family. That would be awesome!
