Hi guys,
Per my LLMD, I'm starting a Nystantin protocol tomorrow. Any suggestions with this, or has

anyone had a hard time with this. I get nervous every time I put one more thing into my system.
Thanks,
Christina

Yes. Assuming you're taking it to reduce yeast overgrowth, I'd advise taking it long enough to do some lasting good...like 4 or 5 months.

When my husband took it, he was also on doxycycline, azithromycin, flagyl, and acyclovir with no problems.

Hi Christina

If you are using Nystatin Pills
chew them up or let them dissolve in
your mouth -

Yeast needs to be treated from Mouth down-

Nystatin is Not hard on the body -
it dose not enter blood stream-
stays in digestive system only-

If you have bad yeast you will likely
herx at some point --Jay--

Hi Jay,
Thank you for the suggestions. Honestly, I don't know if I have a yeast problem or not??

Can you have yeast with out having a prominent infection, or yeast on the tongue?? How do I

know?? I'm assuming I'm taking the Nystantin as a preventative measure, but I really don't know??

Yes, you are taking it as a preventive measure. It's a very good idea, trust me!!!

I would advise against chewing the tablets unless you first speak to your pharmacist and/or doctor.

And yes, you can have yeast without having it in your mouth.

Nystatin is very benign and works only in the gut. It does not affect your liver.

Follow a good diet too, or it will do you no good. Forget about eating sugar, eliminate starchy foods and go easy on the fruit.

Hi All

Yep you should Really chew up the Nystatin tablets-

One of my doctors specializes in Yeast treatment-
Many years

he has been a used as a reference in many of the
books on the market -

He has you chew up the pills

He always has his patents use the Powder form
on nystatin - and just has his patients use the pills for when they are away from there home-

Nystatin dose not taste bad- kind of tastes
like nuts- will turn your tongue a little yellow
if you have yeast on your tongue - Jay -

Hi everyone,

I'm on bicillin, mepron, and zithromax at the moment, and I'm also worried about yeast overgrowth. I'm taking lots of probiotics, candex/candidase, & florastor.

Dr. H's partner Dr. T in the malibu office prescribed me diflucan to pulse on the weekends, but I've heard this strains on the liver, esp. with zithromax. I would like to know if you guys feel nystatin is a better option altho it is not systemic.

-joey
