NObody, from what you wrote, I just see two different types, one is the herb (cut or powder) the other is the concentrate form (that no one I know so far has been using).
buhner recommends whole herb. I have powder if I want to dissolve it in water and drink it or to make own capsules. If I want to make teas, I use the cut form. Same for tinctures (but I never did from artemisia, not sure if this is recommendable...).
I am afraid of the concentrate of any herb because I suppose there are chemicals inside. Chinese do use lots of concentrate of plants, but I don't know what they really mean. So far, what people with lyme are using are whole herbs, unless they are seeing Chinese practioner.
As far as I know.
Artemisinin is just another beast, nothing to do with artemisia annua (I mean, the effect is totally different, even though artemisinin is an extract from artemisia annua).
Artemisia annua is said to kill borrelia in vitro, and I believe both artemisinin and artemisia killed borrelia in my case (as I got my lyme arthritis under control with artemisinin, next to painless). After that, I never got the pain I used to have.

Thank you Selma this is for babesia protocol, but I also have lyme. So I will use the non-powered form but what is the dosage? OO capsules, someone said, but I don't know correct dose? Does anyone know?
