I just got my igenix results in and clearly am surprised. I have severe, perceptual and sensory oh yes cognitive symptoms.
My LLMD said I have had this for at least 8 years or more. He said every system in my brain is effectly muchly.
I got sick this Feb. 08 and lost my hearing in my right ear.
My igenix test results are one band. Where is my immune system.
+58 for IGM
+41 for IGG
My quest had 2 bands positives for each IGM, IGG In May. I have had three tests hoping for a positive.
At least my spec scan doesn't lie and backs up my hideous symptoms.
Positive for bart from Fry..Negative for babs but being treated for babs.
So i obviously don't have far to go to get rid of one band.
thank you for listening Barb

Just because you only have one band on each show up, that doesn't mean your treatment will be easier or quicker. If only that was the way it worked. All it means is that your immune system isn't making a whole lot of antibodies, which can actually mean you are sicker.
Goodluck.

I'm glad your LLMD will treat you. Having one band doesn't mean you're close to recovery. The sickest people are the ones with few bands.
Still... YOU CAN GET WELL!!

I was afraid that was the case. I am pretty sick and involved. I was hoping for more positives for insurance.
So if my symptoms improve will i see more bands react?

I had no bands positive on first WB; after 3 months of treatment I now have one band IGM 41 positive.
So less bands don't mean you aren't as sick; on the contrary it can mean you are extremely sick and your immune system has stopped fighting.
With treatment you are very likely to show up more bands as time goes by.
