Hi Everyone,

My LLMD in NY would like me to have lyme and coinfections labwork done through NeuroScience, a fairly new company that has not yet been FDA approved in NY. However my doctor asked me to have my bloodwork done in NJ through my regular internist and send it to NeuroScience.

Anyone hear anything about this company or have any labs done through them?

Thank you.

I don't know anything about their lyme testing. However, we used their brain chemistry tests for my daughter and found the results to match or be consistent with my daughter's behavior patterns.

The Lyme test you are referring to was developed by Immunosciences Lab -- that lab closed about a year or so ago and apparently sold the test to Neurosciences.

Hubby has had amino acid testing done by Neurosciences in the past -- felt the results were reliable and consistent with his symptomatology. Comparable to similar tests done by other labs such as MetaMetrix.

Hubby also had the Lyme testing done by the old Immunosciences Lab a couple of years ago. His results are posted in the thread below.

A search with the key word Immunosciences will pull up a few other threads with other peoples test results from this lab.

For whatever reason hubby did at least have some antibodies detected on this test -- has always been seronegative for Lyme at many different labs over the last 7 years. About a year after the Immunosciences test he had a positive bloodslide for both Bartonella and Babesia from Fry Labs.

Am seriously considering having the test redone by Neurosciences in December of this year.
