Has anyone had good success lately with any of these, especially Sampento? I am thinking of trying some things even though my LLMD says she has seen little success from herbs and alternative treatments. Can I use any of these while on ABX?

Thanks,
Rich

I can only tell you that the only treatment I've done is the Buhner, and after 3 months of it, all the pain in my knee is gone and I can walk like a normal person, even going down the stairs one foot after another instead of one at a time, which I'd given up on ever doing again. Be ready, though. Samento can cause intense herxes! Start with just a drop or two or just one capsule and work your way up.

The best thing is to buy the book, Healing Lyme, by Stephen Harrod Buhner. It's important to have it beside you while you get into the protocol.

But strangely he doesn't recommend samento, which is a particular form of cat's claw. I had been using regular cat's claw for the first 2 months of the regimen, and done well on it. Then I got some samento cheap, tried it and went through another die off, resulting in another level of improvement. So although I'm incredibly grateful to the guy, I'm not sure he's right about samento. I'm still doing the rest of the regimen, with samento instead of regular cat's claw.

Good luck!

Sorry, I wasn't clear: cat's claw is one of the main herbs in the core protocol. But he doesn't recommend the TOA-free form.
