tonight in the left side of my chest it started to vibrate... kind of feel like it was rattling in there at times.
What could this be? Feels like an under the skin muscle twitch where my heart is...... anyone had this?

Clint,
Can you do some Yoga stretches? That might help settle some of this. There's a lot in our bodies that just needs to be moved about sometimes, given some space. Our skeletons really like to have a chance to stretch out - and then all the other stuff can gurgle and shift and feel better, too.
If this is a muscle spasm, be sure your magnesium and calcium doses are up to par. That will help any spasms settle down - and it can also help regulate heart rhythm.

Is this symptom meaning I'm likely to have a heart attack or heart damage

Clint, I've had that before. Feels like someting funny is going on with your heart but it's so subtle (at least for me) you can't tell exactly what's going on in there.
You really need to take a breath. You are not going to have a heart attack. You are going to be fine. There are people who have had lyme for years and years and are doing fine. You will be one of those people too.
I thought you were seeing a cardiologist on Monday? Did that fall through?

I started coenzyme Q10 for heart health a couple days ago, maybe that is why i'm having the weird chest symptoms in a herx sort of way

clint~ Various parts of my body have vibrated at times (including my chest area)...often at night before I fall asleep or in the morning before I get out of bed. It usually lasts about 30-60 seconds.
I've been diagnosed with lyme disease, various viral infections and clamydia pneumonia.

I know I've gone through many parts of my body vibrating. Haven't had any in the chest in awhile, but today was the back of my neck.
You can rest your hand on it and actually FEEL the vibration. I really don't know fully what causes any of these sensations and quite often for me, it just leads into another symptom.
More frustrating than anything else. If you are concerned about it being in your chest, I would definitely call your doctor and get his/her opinion.
Sadly, many of us going through various vibrations with lyme and co's though. Not fun. Feel better.

Me too!! This is a new symptom for me and it's
freaking me out a little. It's over my entire chest
area and feels like a tremor or almost like shivers
deep in my chest or heart. My heart feels weak also
and shaky.
I did notice that my heartburn was acting up. I
wonder if they are related.
Sorry I can't help...just letting you know I'm in
the same boat.
All of my other "scary" symptoms like this come
and go without seeming to cause any permanent
damage. I'm assuming this will subside as well.

I have this symptom as well. Sometimes I have the constant hum/vibrating in my body, and sometimes I have a rapid fire vibrating/fast twitch that seems to come directly from the heart area.
I've learned not to freak out over it..because it happens so often with no ill effects.
Far worse to me in the internal vibrating..it happens the most at night especially if I stand up from lying down (to go the bathroom etc) and as soon as I lay back down the humming/vibrating is there. It can last quite awhile.
But again... doesn't seem to be doing anything "bad". No idea if it's Lyme or some co that I don't know about yet. Have you been dx with any coinfections?

Hi there
Yep, count me in too!!
I used to get the vibration thing right down my spine but then it went away and is now in my chest, left side. I got a little freaked out at first but I'm used to it now.

I used to get the vibration sensation on the inside of my thighs (at the top).
Felt like my cell phone was set on vibration and was sitting against my leg.
Can't tell you how many times I reached for my phone
To realize it wasn't there.
I suppose I looked kind of funny reaching around my personal areas
Trying to find my cell phone.
I haven't had that for a while.
However, have gone through steady Lyme treatment along with babesia and bartonella tx too.
Not sure which one or ones may be the culprit.
Good luck at the cardiologist.
I had a nuclear stress test two years ago.
The cardiologist said my heart was "perfect".
This despite the fact I had palpatations, irregular beats,
Missed beats and chest pain.
Glad something was good on me.
Hugs,
Geneal

Neurotoxins, any and all, including heavy metals, affect the autonomic nervous system in this way. I used to have the same feeling - my downquilt would even vibrate!
Besides eradicating Lyme, gtting rid of heavy metals contributed more to solving this problem than anything else.
Neurotoxins -- look up the list of what they are. www.neuraltherapy.com Neurotoxin Elimination Protocol lists most of them.
