somebody told me not to use mouthwash as it contains sugar. i used listerine and almost took the skin off. my mouth is still white.
i'm taking 75 mg of diflucan for two weeks and then once per week.
there must be some toothpaste and mouthwash we can use...
what do you do?

I've found that just about everything has at least trace amounts of sugar. Even ketchup has sugar.
I limit my sugar intake also.. but I really don't see mouthwash or toothpaste as being that big of a deal... you're spitting it out anyways.

I was using peroxide...but it actually caused my oral thrush...to get worse!!!!
I now suck on vaginal inserts....by way of my DEntist.
I would suggest the toothpaste and mouth wash of Forever Living's "Thieves" Essential Oils.
I have...a tremendously bad case of systemic candida...VERY bad case.

If you read Dr. B's guidelines, candida actually starts on the tongue.
Oral hygiene is really important. He gives suggestions on what to use.

i have EXTREME DRY MOUTH...
dentist aid suggested BIOTENE for DRY MOUTH; expensive! don't know about sugar without getting up..

i soak my toothbrush in listerine and when i put it in, the listerine immediately starts foaming up and gets really cloudy.
so there must be something on the toothbrush that it's killing...

I use GSE (grapefruit seed extract) when I have yeast. I use 4-7 drops in a 3 oz. cup of water. I swish and spit.
