I suspect Lyme Disease after 8 years of doctor after doctor.

My symptoms match very closely to all the reading about Lyme I have been doing.

I have not found a LLD yet.

My resource at the moment is a naturalpathic doc who ordered an IgG test from Neuroscience Labs.

My results were all normal except under Borrelia Subspecies Antibodies my score was 1.9 for Borrelia Afzelii.

The normal range is under 1.6. The doctor at the lab told my doc he didn't think this meant I had Lyme because all other scores were normal and this one was just above normal.

Does anyone have any opinions on this while I am trying to find an LLD to work with me?

Thank you!

You need to be tested by IGENEX testing lab who specializes in lyme testing. They are located in Palto Alto, CA. Google the name and will get their website.

You can call and get their testing kit and as long as you have a doctor's consent, you can get the blood drawn at any lab.

Make sure you get your blood drawing early in the week so the sample does not lay around.

You can do a search for a LLMD in your area at the top of this site, Search for Doctors.

Good Luck!

Definitely get tested thru Igenex Lab in CA.

www.igenex.com

It's likely your test result will more accurately reflect your true problem.

Thanks for all the replies. That was the company I wanted to use but my doc told me this company had better results than Igenex

I will do this test. In the meantime does anyone have any comments on the following.

My results were all normal except under Borrelia Subspecies Antibodies my score was 1.9 for Borrelia Afzelii.

I have been able to find very little information about Borrelia Afzelii.
