i had another llmd today. he felt up and down my arms and said i have lumps under the skin. what???? i just feel large areas not lumps. anybody have this.
also i asked him to look at my throat a it's still white. he gave me diflucan a couple of weeks ago. i said hey, look at this yeast in my mouth. he said, that's not yeast. i have two medium size white areas on each side of my mouth. he called them glands (didn't know you had glands in your mouth), but he said "that's really strange."
he sent me off for a full blood work.
so if it's not yeast, then what it is? they don't hurt, but my mouth does burn and i often have some trouble swallowing.
more lyme maybe??

Salivary glands infected?
Tonsils?
I am going to reach here, but think the bumpy/lumpy
Thing may be related to bartonella. I think.
At least that is what pops in my head.
Keep us posted on what is going on and how your blood work looks.
Did your doc give you any new meds?
Hugs,
Geneal

no sleeping meds although i could have used them. it's the no sleep that's really tough.

Since you couldn't feel the lumps, I guess they are small lumps. I have/had small lumps along the front of my left shin, but not on the right. I've tied these to Babesia, only because I've had a rash come out right along that line along the shin, and the rash seems to respond to artemesinin gel.
This is my speculation for my situation.
I just wanted to add that my lumps seem to be getting smaller w/aggressive topical treatment w/a number of different things.

Lumps are common in fibromyalgia and fibromyalgia can be a result of lyme disease.
These lumps are not easy to feel unless you know what you are looking for.
Personally I think it's possible that the lumps are related to toxins. The Guaifenesin protocol for fibromyalgia took mine down to almost 0.
I've also wondered if perhaps the lumps are related to bartonella. That also seems like a possibility.
Don't know about the white things in your throat. I have a saliva gland under my chin that swells up and hurts making it hard to swallow. It's getting much better with rife.

I am a newbie. But was reading all of the newbie info. Could this be Baker's cysts? and oral thrush? The links below have pics.
Bartonella too.

Before diagnosed & treated, I had large, diffuse lumps on my forearms and on my shins. Say the size of two quarters side by side, usually in the shape of an oval, definite lumps but not super hard. They could be painful and tender, but not always. They could correspond with reddish/blue oval skin markings I had, but not always.
I've been treated since Feb/March '07 and I haven't had these in FOREVER. So for me, they were definitely from the illness itself.
I never tested + for Bartonella, but I had so many of its symptoms that I do believe I had it - or a BLO as Burrascano discusses - I even had the cat scratch rash a couple of times, along with much of the rest of BLO profile. And definite Lyme.
