I am almost 38 and would like to have more children. I have lyme symptoms still but the last test was negative. Can I be sure that I don't still have lyme in my system. I have heard that lyme can cause problems for the baby or stillbirth. Any input, experiences, advice.

Hi,
Where were you tested? You need to be tested by IGeneX lab in California to really screen for lyme.
Have you been treated for lyme in the past?
Lyme is a clinical diagnosis. If you have symptoms you should see a LLMD. Try treating it, if you perhaps get worse (Herx reaction) then you know what you are dealing with.
You can pass lyme to your child while pregnant. I don't know much more but I would definitely screen via IGeneX and perhaps talk with a LLMD so you are informed before getting pregnant.

Thanks - I am pretty new to all this. I will take the name of the test to my doc on my next appointment and ask for it. Hopefully, it isn't to expensive.

What you want to do is call IGeneX now and ask them to send you a test kit (it's free). There is a form your doctor will need to sign. Then you'll get the blood draw and send it to IGeneX.
Have the Western Blot IgM and IgG test, it's will cost you $200 total. They will send you a receipt that you can submit to insurance.
