Can anyone tell me if flagyl kills only the L-form (cyst), or if it goes after the CWD (cell wall deficient form) of lyme too?
Are they actually the same form? I am a little unclear on how it all works. That is why I was going to ask the llmd about doing both flagyl and mino, but it wouldn't be necessary if the flagyl hits both forms.

My understanding, based on photos which I now can't find *#&^$^@#, is that there are a) spirochet forms which live between cells in connective tissue and the blood, etc. b) L-forms (L stands for Lister, where they were first isolated) that are cell-wall deficient forms, c) blebs (small spherical bodies containing reproductive genetic codes) The blebs can also be attached to a spirochet. d) rings of blebs e) cysts The cysts can also exist in a cell.
Perhaps this site's "Lymbrary" will have links to photos.
Supposedly, Flagyl goes after the bleb or cyst form.
The research paper I have seen about the use of Flagyl is at PubMed--Clinical effects of fluconazole in patiens with neuroborreliosis. PMID: 15337633 available through http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov
