weird...

At one time I had the sensation of tepid water being poured down my leg. It felt so real I just had to look down at my leg.
I mentioned it to my GP years ago (before I knew I had Lyme) and got "the look" (as in she's nuts.)
I never mentioned it to anyone again after that but later found out that neuropathy is common with Lyme and that's what I had.

yes, I even wipe my hand down my leg b/c even though i can't see it,
it feels like there's something running down my leg.
Thank GOD for LLMDs!!
How are you doing now???

I get the sensation that a hot drink is running down my leg...like someone spilled coffee on me.
I'll look down and wipe my leg too, only to discover there's nothing really there.
It's neuropathy...a result of nerve damage or inflammation due to the infection.

Yes, I get the cold water down the leg thing. It only happens about once a week...maybe. However, at least everyday I get some weird skin sensation. Cold water down the leg is only one of many.

YES! All over my body, "cold water" pouring on head, face, arms,legs------ Posted by disturbedme (Member # 12346) on :
YEP! I get this as well, especially on the one part of my leg... I always have it there. It's annoying because it feels as if there's something on my leg, like water or something and it always makes me look, even though I have this sensation quite often and know it's nothing.

Yes!! Have had it down by my right ankle for a while, sometimes stepping outside on a cool day really makes me feel like my leg is wet.
Had an arbitrary spot on my calve the other day that felt cold/wet, just for one day.
Bizarre!

Hey me too!
I do get lots of funny sensations.
But often I think I have spilled water and wipe my leg only to find it's not really wet.
It is usually the same leg in the same place, but sometimes my face or arms too.
Sometimes when holding my baby nephew I think he has drooled on my arm because it is wet and cold (eeeeewww), but he hasn't most of the time.

Yes. Another personal favorite was the sensation of hot wax running down my shins. Oh, and walking on hot coals.
I've been treated for about 18 mos, all of this is much better now.
