I've been on Rocephin for 4 weeks and still on it, prior off one week, prior Doxycilin for 6 weeks. Up to the time I took Dox or Rocephin, my blood pressure was good, 115-130/68-80, now after being on the antibiotics and still on them, my blood pressure has risen to 130-158/80-95. I have no significant recent weight loss or gain, I'm not terribly overweight, only a few pounds, I'm exercising biking 3-4 times a week 20-45 miles, walking 2x/day, I eat healthy and I haven't changed anything in my diet. For the past 10 years I've had my blood pressure taken every month or two by a nurse besides those sit down bp machines in pharmacies. I'm taking no other Rx and almost never have.
Why is my blood pressure high taking the antibiotics? Is this normal? Also my glucose level has been for years 90-102 and now my non-fasting glucose on the Rocephin has been 85, 45, and 75 last week.

I am not sure. I'm sure others will chime in. I just am amazed someone with Lyme can ride their bike 45 miles a week! That's truly amazing. I guess Lyme doesn't stop everyone's life completely.
