tried zithro/mepron combo for 5 weeks until steven johnson syndrom allergic reaction acured
test dosed mepron for 1 week and no reaction so it must have been the zithro that caused allergic reaction
dr p is looking for another abx to take the place of zithro - so we test dosed biaxin - after 5 days severe diarreh and today hives on the legs and she is complaining of chest pain
she says it feels like like her heart is fluttering
strange thing is she is allergic to both zithro and biaxin (or so it seems)but she does ok with clyndomiacin
and all three are in the same group of abx
dr p told us if she doesnt do well with the biaxin it is going to limit his options for oral use and we may need to do IV
we have done IV 3 times and really cant afford $$$ to do it anymore
she is recently very positive for babs and has a long history of bart.
