My husband was having a terrible time with the PICC bandage sticking badly, very hard to remove for changing.

Our wonderful nurse introduced us to Cavilon, which came in a package similar to the alcohol pad.

We just took the cavilon soaked pad, and wiped the skin where the outer edge of the bandage would stick,(not under the clear part.) then let dry a minute before putting on the new bandage.

Fantastic. When it was time to take it off it was much easier.

We also tried skin prep, and that worked just as well.

If you have a hard time, ask your nurse about these. Not medical advice, just passing on our experience.

my nurse switched the dressing to the sorbaview dressing.

my skin was raw from the IV3000 dressing even when the nurse used the adhesive removal wipe pads.

No problem with the sorbaview dressing. See if your homehealth company carries it just in case.

over time, the adhesion removal pads made my skin very irritated and it turned a sticky/pasty texture, my nurse changed the dressing type as well and it's now much better. Those regular tegaderms can be difficult to take off!
