I tested high for lead (much higher) and mercury. If I use Waoira Zeolite drops and chlorella, Vit C and glutathione, how long will it take to get these out? I've been told I may need a stronger chelator but am sort of scared to do these. ideas?

To remove metals, the key is "slow and steady." Expect a year or more if the levels are very high. The chelator itself is important, but the real importance is not overwhelming your bodies ability to process the metals, even if bound to a chelator.

You have to figure out how the levels got high to begin with, and make sure there isn't ongoing exposure to those and other metals.

That's the thing -- can't figure out where I would have gotten lead. mercury, well ate a lot of fish at one time and had a small amalgam (now gone).
Where does one get lead?! i was shocked.

I believe I was exposed to lead through my plates. I threw out the old plates I had and bought fiestware. They actually say lead free on the box.

Most well and city water does not usually contain lead. Water usually picks up lead inside the home from household plumbing that is made with lead materials. Damn those sound like ADD symptoms. Maybe I should do some more reading about accurate metal testing (hair?). The hair tests aren't cheap tho. Being poor sucks!

I understand that for Lyme patients, detoxing metals will likely be an ongoing process. I guess I'm wondering how quickly I can get back into the "normal" range (which is still too much considering there are no safe levels of metals established).

The solder used to bind copper pipe will bleed lead if there is flouride in the tap water. You should filter out both flouride and lead.
I'm not sure just how good HMD is, but I've used two bottles over the last months and at least I have not had any further declines. I'll also note that this doctor seems to test most thoroughly for the actual metals coming out of his patients.
