I amon my 3rd month of treatment for Bartonella, with doxy rifampin and zith... I have tried Lyrica, Topamax and amitrptyline. Along with others for pain. Topamax helped... but caused horrible stomach side effects. Amitriptyline ReALLY helped but i am gaining weight over night. I have horrbile head and jaw pain... with body pain all over. Have you tried Cymbalta? That actually does not affect weight for most people. Some even lose. I can't tell you if it works bc I have only been on it for ten days but I have similar symptoms.
