So I was putting lotion on my legs, like I do every day, and I noticed these new very dark blackish brown spots.
They are small, kinda like freckles but much much darker and there are lots of them. I am fair skinned so they definitely stand out.
Anyone ever suddenly have spots pop up like this?
Also, while looking at my legs and all my new ugly spots, I noticed a couple raised large blue blood vessels running horizontally across one of my legs on the thigh and calf.
Very strange. Any clues as to what is going on?
I'm on Bicillin LA shots, Mepron, Biaxin XL, Plaquenil, Septra DS, and Nystatin tabs. I've been on the Septra for about a month. That's the only recent change in meds.
Tested pos for Lyme, Babesia, CPN, and Mycoplasma, and adrenal insufficiency. Main symptoms are neuro -vision, balance, neuropathy, gastro probs, fatigue. That's the short list anyways.
I would appreciate any help or advice. Thank you all so much.

I have larger, dark spots like that. They were one of the first of many, many strange skin changes that I noticed before ever diagnosed. I think mine are a bit bigger than yours - maybe the size of the head of a thumbtack. They linger for a long time, are pretty circular, ashy black in color. Not like a bruise. Not to be creepy, but they remind me a bit of the spots that AIDS patients seem to often get on their faces.
These spots have mostly occurred on my arms and legs, once I had one which coincided with a derm appt & I showed her, she said "Oh, you mean the bruise?". Like everything else that gets miscalled where Lyme is concerned - - my thought is "Bruise - yeah - NOT".!

Hi there
I had those spot things on my face and my LD said it was the Plaq. I had been taking the Plaq for about three years when I started noticing them.
I had to stop the Plaq because it caused me to get a case of Pancreatitus. Now the spots are all gone.

They definitely don't look like bruises more like dark brown almost black moles. I guess that's why i'm not in a rush to go see my dermatologist. She'd pass them off as moles or freckles. But why would I get a sudden outbreak of them?
This illness is so frustrating.
Thanks for the heads up on Plaquenil, i'll have to check that out. Hopefully mine will go away too.

Might be bartonella, or a BLO.
I used to get these as well. I used to be real itchy all over as well, then I got the "strech" marks.
I saw someone on this board say that some crazy high percentage of people with lyme also have bart.
Ask your doc if he will treat for bart on a clinical basis and see if you feel better.
