Sorry so gross! My daughter had nausea, then abdominal cramping followed by BM/diarrahea 4 times last night. She has had her share of GI issues, so that was not too abnormal, but what she saw in the feces was.
There was several round very yellow objects dispersed throughout the poop. At first I thought it was corn, but very large, and very round. They were about 1cm in size. Some were green/brown, but may have been covered in poop. She fished a couple out and we examined them. One I "popped" was fluid filled. It was hollow and pretty hard too break open, with a thick membrane.
I think gallstones would be more solid, but they do resemble some pictures of gallstones I've found. She did finish IV rocephin about 2 1/2 months ago.
She has had several parasite tests and stool samples done previously, but I think the most recent was about 6 months ago. Can any parasite cysts be this large?
She does not take any medicine that even resembles the "balls". The only plastic capsule she takes at this time is lyrica. Unless the GI acids can really transform the pills, I don't think it is a pill undigested. And there were several of them!
I have a call into the NP at the GI dr's office. Wish she had saved more and refrigerated them.
Anyone else have this before? All similar situations I find on the internet don't have a resolution, just say go to your Dr! I know which Dr can make a difference!
Her abdomen is very swollen and sore today. As is the upper right and rib cage area.

They don't sound like gall stone because those are literally hard as a rock stones. You cannot cut or break them easily.
Maybe they are just the plastic capsules that contained her lyrica. The medicine is probably time released so that might be why the shells don't break down.
I had a similar thing happen when I was taking Allegra D. It was a large pill, half white and half orangey colored. When I first got sick and had a ton of diarrhea I started passing all these orangey looking oval things.
Told my doctor, he said that that side of the medicine does not break down fully because it is a slow release tablet. Most people just don't notice it as they pass.
Hopefully your little green surprises are harmless as my little orange tabs were! Let us know when you figure it out:)

Sammy, gall and or liver stones are not always rock hard. IMHO, they are usually not rock hard -- at least that's what I learned from other patients who did the Hulda Clark cleanse.

Was she on Actigall during the IV?
I think it sounds like gallstones. The area of the pain, nausea, diarrhea.....
