After several months of treatment I was still going downhill. Detox issues became clear to me, and I looked into various methods. Cholestyramine was suggested, but I feared it after reading stories here.
I tried Activated Charcoal and the next morning I felt plugged up. I began to have a pain left of my navel. After 3-4 days to pain reduced and I slowly began to be unplugged, but still not normal. Then the next day the pain moved to the left of my navel, and a few hours later lots of gurgling in my tummy and a quick dash to the toilet, and the release of an unholy mess and awful mystery smells. The toilet filled with black. The charcoal finally left with something.
After this, my afternoon foggy dizzyness seemed to disappear, but my neuro/ALS symptoms continued to go down hill.
Now I am thinking of using my Choleatyramine Rx.
Seems that I removed something bad, but maybe I exposed some other bad neurotoxins. Like removing a layer of paint to see the uglier paint.
Any ideas? Posted by NanaDubo (Member # 14794) on :
I have found activated charcoal to be very helpful for binding toxins. It definitely can constipate you so lots and lots of water is good and necessary.
I haven't tried the other as this works so well for me.
