Dr. R's office in NY City stated that sugars, alcohol and steroids are prohibited. I understand the sugars and alcohol but not the steroids.

I use Testim 1% (Topical testosterone gel) due to low Testosterone levels. It is FDA approved and I use a 5g tube each morning.

Is this considered a steroid and harmful to me? I don't understand?
