I have weakness and pain in both my arms and legs, but it's particularly bad on the right side.

The right-sided weakness was sudden onset, along with a concurrent bout of bell's palsy on the same side, and that scared the bejeebers outta me.

At first I thought it was maybe a stroke or something, but no loss of speech or time perception.

Nope. Just more neuro funkiness. Hasn't gone away either, although the right-sided bells palsy has gotten much better.

Shelly23, Is it upper arms, lower arms, or both?

I get it in my arms and legs. For me, it isusually in the same places in both arms or legs, weird.

Again, for me , it's the feeling like u have been holding something up over your head that is heavy and then u get to relieve your arms and put them down, you know the feeling you get in them? Like they weigh a ton, and sort of knawing.

Maybe yours is different, but thats how it happens for me.

Also, if I go to sit and pull my legs up beside me on the couch, same thing happens in my legs.

Comes and goes for no reason.

I would say it's normal for someone with a positive Lyme test! What are you taking for the Lyme? When did you start taking it?

yup
in shoulders. i think it is because of lyme.
they started to get lots better with stretching, light weights and swimming. i stopped the exercises three weeks ago, and the pains came back.
so i think the exercise really, really helped, believe it or not.
don't overdo it- that is exactly why i had to stop doing it...just starting up again after straining my deltoid from doing too much.

oh, and the abx definitely helped with that burning/aching/straining feeling.
