I have been doing the Mepron/Zith route for about 10 days now.
Suddenly last night I had a marked increase in sweating with the slightest activity.
Today,my face, especially near my forehead feels itchy and and has a tingling sensation when i touch it.
Could this be from the Babs?

Oh yes! The sweating! While doing light activity is from Bart! I still to this day sweat when I do the slightest thing. The sweating starts in my scalp, and down the center of my back! It is ridiculous! I was last year trying to work. I was an outside sales rep for a swimming pool tile distributor I used to have to redo and set up customers and showroom displays! By the time I was done I was drenched! It was totally embarassing! I used to put deoderant all over not just my armpits and also used baby powder! It did not help! After months on my Mepron I got better! Then I went off Mepron and 8 months later it is back!
You have to beat the Mepron and make sure you stay on you meds long enough! Also if it starts to creep up get back on Mepron immediately!! I cannot go on Mepron b/c insurance won't cover it! I am only on Artemisinan and it is not cutting it!
Just my two cents but it is something I deal with everyday!
Best of luck. Treat you Babesia with either Mepron or Malerone! Also add Artemesinan! That should help you!
